Why am I still dealing with them weeks after cancelling??

Requested a refund based on awful experience. I’d made two payments as I had an original order, plus an additional item. Only one of the payments was refunded.I’ve been renovating a house and had the occasional issue with orders from other suppliers which were quickly resolved but Victorian Plumbing have managed to screw everything possible up at every opportunity and are impossible to contact without waiting a week for a response.In contrast all the items I ordered from Victoria Plumb turned up quickly with no hassle.

Probably the worst customer service I…

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a cloakroom was basin on 2nd April 2021, arrived on the 6th April. The outlet flange was not flat, making it impossible to make a seal, and so it leaked. Complained on the 6th. Following that, four different people contacted me, asking for photos of the problem. It was clear they were stalling, hoping I'd give up and go away. Finally, on the 29th April, they concede, and say they are dispatching another wash basin as replacement. Too late. I've already purchased another basin from another supplier. I will never use this company ever again.

Poor delivery by DPD but Vic Plumbing items OK

The Shower items were as I had ordered but the DPD delivery was delayed (unnecessarily we believe) by 3 days.We got an sms at 0939hrs on the Friday saying 1105hrs delivery!! As we were already out we asked for neighbour delivery but nothing arrived. We then were told that the driver would not get back until the next Monday and we said to leave it in a safe place (through side gate). On the Monday the door bell rang and by the time we got to the door the parcel was on the door step (had not been left in the safe place) and we just caught sight of the back of the driver running down the road. So on that basis we could have got the item on the Friday and fitted it over the weekend!! Certainly not the best service we have had in Covid.

I am still awaiting a Return note…

I am still awaiting a Return note requested on 17th April and all I have received is an Email requesting "an image of the full item" etc instead of what I asked for!!

Customer Support on Returning Items

I returned a number of items to Victorian Plumbing as the were not needed after a house refurbishment. 2 of the items (spanning 2 order numbers) were damaged in transit, so I've had to make a claim through the courier company The courier company requested specific photos of the damage and other details. The customer support agent at Victorian Plumbing, Becki Donaldson, was AWESOME. We chatted across the LIVE customer support platform for about 45mins, in which time she located all the photos I needed, as well as price breakdowns, and other information. Throughout this process Becki was really attentive, courteous, professional, and super-helpful, making what was a potentially stressful activity really pleasant, and easy. I have the material I need, and hopefully I'll get a satisfactory response from the courier!! Someone like Becki is an absolute asset to Victorian Plumbing, when things don't quite go according to plan. Thank You Becki

So far so good

So far so good. Was expecting the Catsworth furniture to be a bit more of a wood feel and not as plasticky, if that's a word! Fittings basin toilet exactly what I expected at the more luxury end of things.

Incredibly slow and painful process…

Incredibly slow and painful process returning some shower curtains for credit against a new order. Jonathan was courteous and helpful in resolving it, but his employer really needs to do a lot better.

Not great quality, unhelpful service

Hinged shower screen leaks.Corner shape of bathtub shown in picture was not the shape that came.No plinth with bathtub and some fixings missing: when I wrote to ask for this to be remedied, I got a reply several WEEKS later, unhelpfully telling me that the plinth was one piece and NOT addressing the fact that the plinth was missing. No mention of the fixings or offer of replacement parts.
